How to use?
Guarana Powder Start with a tea-spoon of guarana powder, blended with any hot or cold beverage, great in a milk shake, smoothie or any mixed fruit drink. Many of our customers like it in hot tea chai-tea, added to granola trail-mix, or used in baking breads or cookies. Using a blender is recommended.
Guarana Syrup Start with a table-spoon of guarana syrup and blend with any hot or cold beverage. In Brazil, shakes are normally made by blending both the guarana powder and sweetened guarana syrup. The guarana syrup is concentrated so it is best blended with another liquid.
Guarana Liquid Extract Start with 10-15 drops per serving, added to your favorite drink. Our extract is very concentrated so you don't need much. The 2oz bottle with no-mess dropper is very convenient to have at work to stay focused and get you through the day.

GUARANA (Paulina cupana), the essence of Good Health, is a perennial plant indigenous to Brazil. The Amazonian Indians first discovered its beneficial medicinal value and today this value is reassured.
Today the plant is known and used worldwide. Ninety percent of the world's commercial production of guarana is in the middle of the Amazon rainforest in northern Brazil; still performed by the Guarani Indians, who wild-harvest the seeds and process them into paste by hand. The Brazilian government has become aware of the importance of the local production of guarana by traditional methods employed by indigenous inhabitants of the rainforest. Since 1980, FUNAI (National Indian Foundation) has set up a number of projects to improve the local production of guarana. Now, under the direction of the FUNAI, many cooperatives in the rainforest support indigenous tribal economies through the harvesting and production of pesticide free guarana. 180 thousand tons of guarana is harvested by hand each year in the Amazonas of Brazil which serves a US$2 billion industry.Approximately 3,000 independent farmers harvest the guarana on less than 3 acres of land. In the United States, guarana is reputed to enhance alertness and physical capacities, improve mood, suppress the appetite and have sexual stimulating effects.In addition to increasing endurance, it has a history of treating hangovers from alcohol abuse and headaches related to menstruation.
